BOHOL DRUG BUST: Man celebrates V-Day in jail

THERE will be no romantic Valentine’s Day celebration for a 45-year-old man in Bohol province after he was arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation on Friday dawn, Feb. 13.

The pre-Valentine Day police operation saw the arrest of Joe Bryan Arboiz in Barangay Danao, Panglao, Bohol.

Operatives of the Intelligence Unit of the Bohol Police Provincial Office seized packs of suspected shabu weighing seven grams worth P47,600.

Police said that based on monitoring, the suspect started peddling illegal drugs just last January.

The suspect was allegedly responsible for the proliferation of illegal drugs in the whole island of Panglao and used a popular e-wallet service in his transactions, police said.

For a week, the suspect could dipose of at least 10 grams of shabu, police said.

Appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect, police added.(CDB)
