THE Converge FiberXers are finally competing in the semifinals.

The FiberXers clinched the franchise’s first-ever Final 4 appearance since taking over the Alaska Milk franchise in 2022, beating the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, 120-109, in Game 4 of their best-of-five quarterfinal series in the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup on Friday night, Nov. 6, at the Araneta Coliseum.

Converge wrapped the series, 3-1, winning the last three games after a painful Game 1 loss that saw them squander double-digit deficits.

Import Cameron Clark erupted for 32 points to lead Converge while Mikee Williams added 17 points, including back-to-back triples in an 11-2 run in the closing minutes that broke the backs of the Elasto Painters.

Clark also had 12 rebounds, six assists, four steals, outplaying Rain or Shine’s Aaron Fuller, who managed 23 and 10.

Fuller was held scoreless in the final quarter.

Justin Arana chipped in 16 points, Alec Stockton tallied14, Juan Gomez de Liano dropped 13 and Calvin Abueva tossed in 11 as Converge arranged a best-of-five semis series with the NLEX Road Warriors.
