A 23-YEAR-OLD Filipino-American is facing three murder charges after he allegedly killed three of his family members, including two minors, a day after Christmas at their Baldwin Park home, in Los Angeles California.

US authorities have identified the suspect as Kyle Chester De Los Reyes, who is set to be arraigned on January 15 after he allegedly killed eight-year-old Mia Chantelle Narvaez, 16-year-old Paul Sebastian Manangan, and 44-year-old Rona Nate.

The victims suffered multiple stab wounds in different parts of their bodies.

Police responded immediately after they received a call from the neighbor who heard noises from the house around 6:30 p.m. with a little girl screaming for help to call 911.

As authorities arrived, they saw the victims bloodied with no life.

The suspect tried to flee from the crime scene but was eventually arrested after his vehicle crashed at the neighbor’s fence.

De Los Reyes was jailed without bail, awaiting his arraignment before the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Pomona Branch.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said his office “will work tirelessly to ensure that justice is served in this devastating act of violence, which has shaken our community and left a family forever changed.”

“Let this be a clear message: those who commit heinous acts of violence will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.” Hochman added.

Authorities did not provide further details, including the motive of the crime.(LAO)
