THE Cleveland Cavaliers showed how deadly they can become with a full-strength roster, scoring a dominant 126-104 win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 3 of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series on Saturday (Philippine time), May 10.
Boosted by the return of three key players, including two starters, the Cavaliers finally listed a win in the series after dropping Games 1 and 2 at home to cut the series deficit to 1-2.
Indiana will still host Game 4 on Monday, May 12, for a chance to seize a critical 3-1 lead.
Donovan Mitchell played huge for the Cavaliers, finishing with 43 points and nine rebounds in a match that they led by as many as 26 points.
NBA Defensive Player of the Year Evan Mobley, All-Star guard Darius Garland, and key reserve DeโAndre Hunter made key contributions in their much-needed return to Clevelandโs lineup.
Mobley finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds, Garland tallied 10 points, and Hunter had eight markers and four five boards. Max Strus pitched in 20 points, Jarrett Allen tossed in 19 markers and 12 rebounds.
