HEALTHY Home showed up with just five available players but Mark Paradero took matters into his own hands and powered the squad to a tight 88-86 win over Titan Superflex in the Cebu Architects Basketball Club (CABC) 3rd Boysen Cup 2025 over the weekend at Game Changer in Mandaue City.
Paradero played like a man possessed, erupting for 42 points that helped Healthy Home overcome a severely depleted lineup. Paradero also had seven assists, six rebounds, and five steals as Healthy Home pocketed its fifth win in five games.
Ferdinand Tiro had his own solid outing for Healthy Home with 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists. Erik Bryan Ramo pitched in 12 points and Angelo Surpia tallied six points and 11 rebounds in the win.
Lemuel Aspacio scored 29 points for Titan, which stumbled to its second loss in five outings.
Nation Paints posted its own close win by escaping Virtuoso, 95–94, with Kim Rebosura firing 21 points.
Luijay Boholano and Brian Acebedo collected 18 markers each, Joefar Gerundio scored 11 and Alvin John Rival had 10 as Nation Paints improved to 4-1 (win-loss).
Joseph Gerundio fired 23 points and Philip Bryan Alegado had 20 in Virtuoso’s third defeat in five games.(CCM)
